🌱 Why I Created Career Gadget: A Note From the Co-Founder!!

Hi, I’m Muskaan Malhotra, the

Co-Founder of The Career Gadget.

If you’ve ever looked at your resume and thought, Where do I even start?  I’ve been there too.

Before The Career Gadget existed, I was navigating that same uncertainty full of ambition, but unsure how to present my experience in a way that truly stood out.

✨ It Started With Shared Frustration

When Nikhil and I first started talking, we realised something important: job searching had become way harder than it needed to be. We’d both been through the grind rewriting resumes late at night, reading endless online advice, and still feeling unsure about what really mattered. That’s when it clicked: people don’t need more opinions; they need better tools. Tools that bring clarity, confidence, and direction to the process.

That realisation became the foundation for The Career Gadget a platform built to make job searching simpler, smarter, and more human.

Building What I Wished I Had

From the start, I wanted The Career Gadget to be more than another resume builder. It had to be something that genuinely helped people not just with templates or tips, but with real, personalised feedback that actually made a difference.

Something that could:

That’s what drove every feature we created. I wanted users to feel less lost and more empowered every time they logged in.
